An important correction

I stated Liliana's birthweight as 15 lbs. 15 ozs. . . twice. I was a victim of the same typo/misspeaking both times. Her actual birthweight is 5 lbs. 15 ozs, thus the stringbean comment.

Marita is a champion, but there's no way she pushed out a 16-pounder ( :

aloha.
ian, marita, and the very slim liliana.

I kept thinking there was NO WAY you had a 16lb baby! Did you even gain 16lbs? Congrats on the beautiful daughter and on the amazing job laboring without an epidural!!!! Marita- you are one strong lady!

Don't worry Marita, she will fill out in no time, just make sure you eat good nutritious food. The slide show is wonderful. Can you add sound to it? It would be fun to hear her cry or just make any sound
Love you all Nana
PS: That birth story is amazing, you are a strong and brave lady and a fine example to your daughter Keep up the good work

Congratulations Ian and Marita! And welcome Liliana! We were all watching the blog for updates here in Michigan and there was much curiousity among some friends here if the 15 lbs 15 oz was a typo or not. Many of the girls at the house were very relieved to see that it was a typo! We can't wait to meet Liliana!

I kind of thought a 16 pound baby is a little bit ginormous...
